To the Parishioners of Saint Theresa's
"Compassion is an understanding of the emotional state of another human being. Showing people kindness is a necessity in my life. I feel it is about taking the time to stop and listen and truly hear another person's fear, hopes, sadness, joy, anger, and peace. I feel fulfilled when I am doing for others."
In my five years at Saint Theresa's, I endeavored to bring these qualities of a deacon (one who serves) to all of you.
It is with great sadness that I am announcing my decision to retire from active ministry in the deaconate due to age related and health reasons.
In closing, I am refer you to 1 Tim 3:13
Deacons who serve well:
"Gain a good standing for themselves and great boldness in the faith that is Jesus Christ"
Blessings and love, Deacon Charlie
