A Sacirstan's primary job is to setup our facility for all our Liturgical Services that occurs in and outside our Church area.   Having such a responsibility, it is important to coordinate closely with the Liturgy Coordinator of the Parish who is in-charge of all the spiritual and liturgical functions, including the Music Ministry of the Church.

It is a ministry that is often unnoticed by the faithful, yet, an honor to be part of the "little church with the big heart.  

 

A sacristan recognizes the sacrifice and the dignity to be serving the Lord most especially in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, where we actually can share in the "sacrifice" of Christ in all its humility. This is when our work becomes an opportunity to fulfill a mission for Christ.
