Social Services | Soup Kitchen | Food Pantry

Our St Theresa Social Services Ministry includes the Food Pantry, Food Kitchen, and Thrift Shop. Our primary goal is to serve our  neighbors in South Marion county helping to build a stronger foundation in their lives.

Our dedicated volunteers and staff strive to meet that goal by providing nearly 40K meals, 14K Food baskets, and 38K household and clothing items from our TS annually. In addition, we offer a resource center with computers allowing our clients to seek employment, obtain training and apply for assistance.  Our spiritual and financial goals go hand in hand. Thanks be to God and to you our parishioners and friends who support us so graciously. We could not sustain our operations without you.

The mission/goal of St. Theresa’s Social Services is to help the poor of South Marion County build a stronger foundation upon which they can build or rebuild their lives. We offer a meal to the hungry, groceries to the poor, and clothing to the impoverished.

We offer financial assistance when funds are available and full use of our community resource center.

Our community resource center has computers where clients can go online to seek employment, attach resumes’, file for unemployment, apply for food stamps, check their email and do research for classes. St. Theresa’s Social Services, offer a hand up, not a handout. We have a wonderful staff of volunteers who each are specialized in their own way, to help contribute to the well being of our clients.  We feel blessed to have each and every volunteer here at St Theresa’s. Our Spiritual Goal is very similar to our Financial Goal. We pray daily for the funds and groceries to keep us going daily. Somehow God and You (friends of St Theresa’s) provide us with enough to keep us going. Thank you for your continued support and prayers. We could not, or would not exist without community support.
