It has been almost 12 years since I arrived as your administrator in September of 2006 and later as your parish priest. I was able to meet a lot of you in several occasions, not just through spiritual and social fellowships, but from your overwhelming support to the events and functions in our community. Nothing would render me speechless to let you understand how deeply I appreciated the warm welcome and tremendous outpouring of support and counsel of my staff and volunteers, through the years - to my priesthood and the parish of St Theresa. The monumental and continuing efforts of our parishioners generously created a stewardship heart that develops a real sense of community, guiding and improving a new set of standards that allowed us to sustain challenges, obstacles, and opportunities that come our way. It is one thing to study and preach about community life, however with you I learn how good and beautiful it is to experience the truth that bears fruit - from its branches.
With this “from the top, middle, and bottom of my heart, St Theresa will always be “My Little Church with A Big Heart.” I have grown to love this parish and the many people who I have had the privilege to encounter.
May God reward this parish community a hundredfold making it a “A family founded in Christ, nourished, commissioned, by the sacraments, living in faith in service to God and our neighbors.” Ho! Ho! Ho!
