“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened”
~ Matthew 7: 7-8
Last week we announced, in our midst, in Ocala, the clinic for abortions, where many innocent lives were sacrificed, has closed permanently.
This last day of June, the property was purchased by Interfaith Emergency Services (IES). IES plans to use the facility for the benefit of the homeless population in our community, by providing them with healthcare, counseling , and other services.
Although the abortion clinic here is now closed, others are still open in Tampa, Orlando, and—only minutes away from us—in Gainesville (where there is not one, but two abortion clinics). So, our prayers and efforts are still needed.
We will keep on supporting organizations like “Alpha Center for Women” and “Women’s Pregnancy Center”, where women and men experiencing unplanned pregnancies and facing critical life choices can receive the information, help, and much more in order to make life affirming decisions.
We will keep on praying, working, and making our stand for life in the upcoming events of this year: During August we will have a collection of items for Alpha Center. The first Sunday of October we will participate in the nationwide Life Chain. And the first Saturday of November we will support the Women’s Pregnancy Center in the Walk for Life.
